WACKY OLYMPICS

GENERAL PROPOSAL

The purpose of the Wacky Olympics is to raise funds for the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis

Funds will be raised in the following ways:

1. Each participating high school will pay a $100.00 entry fee per team fielded.

2. Each participating middle school will pay a $50.00 entry fee per team fielded.

3. Sponsors will be obtained for the event.

4. Tickets will be sold to spectators.

The Wacky Olympics are scheduled for March 20, 2009. The host high school(s) can operate concession stands for profit. The department of Student Activities and Athletics will assume the custodial expenses.

A middle school and a high school Wacky Olympic Champion will be named. In addition, awards will be presented to individuals and teams representing each school. The Department of Student Activities and Athletics will assume the cost of transporting middle school teams from their schools to the competition site.
